Upside Down Text Generator is a free online tool that converts plain text into stylized Unicode characters. No account required, no ads, no data sent to any server — everything runs directly in your browser.

How it works

Unicode is a universal character encoding standard that includes thousands of look-alike characters beyond the basic Latin alphabet. Many of these characters visually resemble bold, italic, cursive, or decorative letters — but they are distinct code points, not formatted text.

When you type into the generator, the tool maps each character to its Unicode equivalent on the fly. The result is a string of Unicode characters that looks styled but can be pasted anywhere plain text is accepted — social media bios, captions, messages, usernames, and more.
